On the site of the former Metaleurop Nord metallurgical plant that SITA AGORA dismantled and decontaminated from 2004 to 2006, the company, a subsidiary of SITA Nord, is continuing to develop a multimodal environmental technology park for waste management that is unique in France.

In creating France Plastiques Recyclage (FPR) in 2007, SITA France and the PAPREC Group, leaders on the French recycling market, rely strongly on innovation to meet the challenge of excellence. The goal is to make granules of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) from recycled bottles collected from individuals on behalf of local authorities.

Créteil Incineration Energy (CIE) is a treatment and recovery centre, which handles 225,000 tonnes of waste per year.

SITA DEEE, created in 2006, is a subsidiary of SITA Recyclage, specialising in dismantling Electrical & Electronic Equipment Waste (EEEW in English, DEEE in French).

SITA Méditerranée, a subsidiary of SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT, is a major player in comprehensive waste management for the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Languedoc-Roussillon regions of France.
