SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT is a storehouse of valuable expertise, developed year by year. Sharing it in order to deliver the best services is one of the Group’s priority missions. With this in mind, the Skills and Training managers of the Group’s various entities are working together to co-operate on joint themes, exchange best practices and share tools.
For its part, Ondeo Industrial Solutions, a SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT subsidiary, offers its managers various Cross-Knowledge e-learning modules. These modules provide simple methods and operational analysis tools to evaluate skills, execute appropriate action plans and promote personal and professional development among all its employees.
To respond in a concrete way to sustainable development challenges, SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT needs to have a widely based, multidisciplinary expertise that is constantly renewed. Managing the know-how and skills of the Group’s employees is therefore key. A formal Water International Knowledge Transfer Initiative (WIKTI) has been put in place to ensure effective knowledge transfer to the Group’s employees and customers. This ISO 9001 certified method is based on a mapping of 38 business processes. It was tested in Algeria where SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT is involved in a management contract that provides for knowledge transfer to local employees. Lyonnaise des Eaux Residential Customers Department and the International Development and Training Centre have developed a customer-relationship e-learning tool for their employees. This tool is aimed at accelerating the marketing of the new range of “Dolce ô” services to residential customers.
