Behind the scenes

Until the end of 2011, SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT will widely broadcast a new publicity campaign in the French press, radio and on the Internet in order to:

  • provide a better understanding of the Group’s brand and businesses in the fields of water and waste management,
  • explain the company’s commitments and concrete contributions to more responsible growth.

For this campaign, SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT decided to highlight the circular economy and the company’s innovation initiatives. The campaign communicates 1 key message: how to successfully manage goods used on a daily basis, from their generation to their regeneration.

The campaign centers around 4 new visuals combined with 4 slogans:

  • Desalination: “Converting seawater into drinking water is good business,”
  • Drinking water: “Making water safe to drink is good business,”
  • Materials recovery: “Giving a second life to metal is good business,”
  • Energy recovery: “Turning waste into energy is good business.”

Taking this further, SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT goes behind the scenes of these 4 visuals through a dedicated microsite. The site highlights simple, everyday actions—such as separating waste into the right bins or turning the tap for a drink of water—in a clear, educational tone to show the general public how the Group contributes to a circular economy.
