In 2009, Lyonnaise des Eaux launched a novel collaborative initiative to pool ideas on the future of water: New ideas on water. Everyone shares the same view: easy water has become fragile; the current water model must change.

Today Lyonnaise des Eaux is launching "The Contract for Water Health", consisting of concrete proposals concerning governance, innovation and economic model which must meet current expectations and rise to the challenge of protecting our water resources. A new water model is on the move.

Lyonnaise des Eaux undertakes to measure the efficiency of its actions for water health under the supervision of Vigeo, Europe's leading non-financial rating agency.
