The 2nd International Conference on Marine/Maritime Spatial Planning will be held in Paris from 15 to 17 March 2017. Through this event, SUEZ is committing to protecting the coast and the oceans. The Group will also be represented – talks from two expert speakers are on the agenda and a digital model will also be exhibited. The Group's involvement is part of its environmentally friendly approach to resource management.
SUEZ is a partner of the International Conference on Marine/Maritime Spatial Planning, which will be held in Paris from 15 to 17 March 2017.
This is the second time the conference has been held, and is organised by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC), which is affiliated to UNESCO.
The event is an opportunity to encourage coordination and cooperation between the range of stakeholders in attendance, who will be able to improve their knowledge of coastal and ocean resources.
This information will be the cornerstone of developing a sustainable approach to managing these resources, protecting marine ecosystems as a result.
