Biography

Guillaume Pepy , born 26 May, 1958, French, studied at Ecole Nationale d’Administration and is a Legal Advisor at the Conseil d’Etat (France’s highest administrative court). Mr Pepy has served in various positions at SNCF (Director of Major Lines, then Director of Investments, Economy and Strategy, and Chief Executive Officer since 2003) as well as at government Ministries (technical advisor to Michel Charasse, Chief of Staff for Michel Durafour, then Chief of Staff for Martine Aubry). Since 26 February, 2008, Mr Pepy has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SNCF (French railways).
