R+i Alliance was formed in January 2005 to develop, finance and execute Research & Innovation programmes of common interest for the main subsidiaries of SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT and key partners in the water industry.
There are five members in the R+i Alliance:
By pooling financial and human resources in projects of strategic interest for our business lines, R+ i Alliance creates added value for each of its members. The R+i Alliance research programme is focused on 7 priority areas:
- asset management
- energy efficiency
- metering and remote meter reading
- control of odour control for water and wastewater
- sludge management
- stormwater management
- water and health
