Sustainable development is at the core of SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT’s business and practices.
The concept of sustainable development was born out of numerous environmental, economic and demographic events in developed countries. In the last few years, it has developed rapidly. Companies are now encouraged to rethink their behaviour, their practices and their production methods. Conscious of its responsibility, SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT has committed itself to sustainable development through 4 major priorities, comprising 12 concrete commitments linked to its activities.
This approach was implemented in 2006 and serves as the company’s roadmap for sustainable development. It sets out specific detailed goals to be attained by 2011.
