SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT places relations with graduate schools and the hiring of their interns at the heart of its recruitment strategy. As an international corporation, it helps develop and prepare students for their professional lives. This commitment has a dual focus: supporting the academic world and helping academia better understand the Group’s businesses and the opportunities they offer.
Every year, SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT and the SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT INITIATIVES FUND offer study grants to students at participating universities: Agro ParisTech (in partnership with the University of Tongji, Shanghai), the Unesco-IHE Institute for Water Education (Delft, Pays-Bas) and the ESTP (Ecole Spéciale des Travaux publics).
The Group also contributes to 15 partnerships and business chairs with institutions of higher education. These partnerships cover the range of humanities and social sciences in France and abroad.
Every year SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT and its entities provide case studies to be used as course material and participate in the syllabus of several top graduate schools (INA P-G, ENGREF, ESTP, ENSEEIHT, Ponts et Chaussées…etc).
SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT and its French subsidiaries, Lyonnaise des Eaux, SITA France, Degrémont, SAFEGE and Ondeo Industrial Solutions, offer nearly 800 internships a year in operations (operations, engineering, construction, etc.) as well as in support functions (management, finance, procurement, sales, communications, legal and human resources).
All the internships offered by SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT are defined and offered with a view to pre-recruitment. The Group pays special attention to welcoming and mentoring interns.
